New Search Insurance enhancements now live
As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver exceptional customer service and continuously improve our systems, we’ve introduced changes to the way Search Indemnity Insurance is ordered. These enhancements are designed with your convenience in mind—ensuring a smoother, faster, and more responsive experience.
To minimise any disruption to your current processes and maintain continuity of service, we have introduced a new product: Search Indemnity (Standard or Advanced).
This product is now available and has been built with improved functionality and broader coverage options, helping you order with greater speed and confidence.
- Standard Protection – Continued cover for key searches such as local authority, drainage and water, mining, common land, and/or town and village green.
- Advanced Cover – Now Online – Advanced protection can now be ordered instantly online, including standard protection plus highways, chancel repair, Cheshire salt, and utilities searches.
- Development Properties – No need to place a bespoke request for development properties - instant quotes are now available online.
- Bespoke your own quote – We've refined our Statement of Facts and added more options online, reducing the need for manual referrals.
- Enhanced Policy Coverage – We now insure payments for overriding charges that affect the property under this policy and include additional protection as standard, for property purchasers, when an identified charge has not been redeemed*.
- Premium Updates – Premiums have been adjusted to reflect the updated risk profile while still providing great value.
Any open drafts can still be converted for a period of 6 months from their order date.
All new Search Insurance quotations will now be processed under the new product.
