The Results
The pilot has catalysed and transformed the RBS climate journey placing the bank in a position to respond with confidence to the 2021 BES. The systems and approaches demonstrated in the pilot are now being used the basis for building a long-term strategy for integrating climate considerations into their lending and risk framework. This proof of concept features within the 2019 RBS Annual Report.
